I am trying to log in to Minecraft from my launcher the normal one.
It says can't connect to minecraft.net even though I have full internet connection and
can go to minecraft.net in browser and log in. Help please?

What does the launcher look like?

Does it load the news space?
Is the area around the bottom of the launcher a dirt background, or is it solid black?

It had all the news and everything perfectly loaded. It started working again after. I went on the Hypixel server afterwards and my character was in a completely different area from when I left so I changed my password.
