I want to have two copies of minecraft - one vanilla and one modded. The original minecraft (located in appdata) is the modded one and it worked fine. For the copy of minecraft, I made a folder in which i placed a copy of .minecraft (vanilla), the minecraft.exe, and a batch file with the following code:
set APPDATA=%cd%
minecraft.exe
When I ran this copy of minecraft, at first I could only play offline. I also couldn't install forge, so i decided to use the original copy as the modded minecraft. Now, though, I get a black screen when trying to play offline as well, and I still can't sign in. I have a premium account, I didn't hack minecraft. Please Help.
