Hello:
I am having a problem with Minecraft that is really annoying. My main world that I have been playing only loads a few blocks and then there is nothing. When I am in the world time is slowed down, my map wont generate for a few minutes, blocks I break do not show up in my inventory, animals don't move etc. etc.
I thought at first something was wrong with my machine (e.g. java, gpu drivers, ram) but I created another world and it is fine. I have been working on this world for a few months now and that is why I just don't want to start over.
I've tried many different things with no luck in fixing the problem. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
If your world got corrupted you can try to repair it with MCEdit. Open the offending world in MCEdit, press 'ctrl-i' and select 'Repair regions' in the dialogue which pops up. Once this has completed, save your world and exit MCEdit.
To download MCEdit, go to http://www.mcedit.net/ and choose the version appropriate for your OS.
