It logs me in successfully, but can't seem to figure out the current version list. This means I cannot play the game (the Play button remains greyed out).
The pertinent line from the Dev tab seems to be here:
Going to log in with legacy stored username & password...
Loaded 1 profile(s); selected '(Default)'
Trying to log in...
Logging in with username & password
Logged in successfully
Unexpected exception refreshing version list
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect
What follows appears to be a long list of servers, all of which failed to connect.
It then printed:
Couldn't download resources
javax.net.ssl.SSLException: SSL peer shut down incorrectly
Is this related to my having updated to the most recent Java version?
Make sure your system time is correct, and that Java's configuration files are up to date. You should try reverting to an earlier build of Java to see if it resolves the issue.
System clock is fine. I'll check the config files, though I am unsure of my ability to properly determine if they're up to date. Hopefully it will be apparent.
Reverting is something I'll try if that doesn't prove effective.
Well, I can confirm the configuration files all have the same date, and that date is when I updated Java. However, there's a LOT of config files, and beyond that I don't know how to see if they're up to date.
Moreover, consulting Java's website, they don't seem to have the previous version available for download anymore.
Is there a particular procedure used for reverting to a previous edition?

Thanks for the suggestion!
