I am trying to run a local game via LAN. I can start the game on PC1, and then open it to lan. PC2 can see the game, but when I try to join server, it fails to connect and times out.
I can ping PC1 from PC2 and vice versa.
Both computers are modern, are Windows 7 with all current updates, and running the latest version of java. Both are logged on as admins. I normally use ESET internet security as well as Malwarebytes anti-malware, but even with both disabled, I still cannot connect.
Please help.
