Hi I'm having a problem with my minecraft. A couple weeks ago i installed Mo creatures. I enjoyed it for several weeks without a problem. However, Saturday morning I went to play and my Minecraft wouldn't launch. It kept crashing. I tried to unistall the mod but I couldn't find any of the folders (mods, texturepacks, bin etc) So I downloaded the new launcher and I was able to get into minecraft. I was expecting all of my progress to be lost but when i got into minecraft my worlds were there. Any place the folders could be?
To get at Minecraft's locally stored files on a Mac, in the Finder, from the Go menu, select Home. Then open Library, Application Support. The folder you want is "minecraft".
If your Library folder in your home directory is hidden, run the following command in Terminal to reveal it:
chflags nohidden ~/Library/
The system Library, /Library, and your user library, ~/Library are different places. Please look at what we're telling you to look at.
