Recently i changed my router for a new one and im unable to connect to lan worlds anymore with my sister.
We have opened the router ports, turned off the firewall, we are using the same connection, and we have tried to to use direct connect, we also have tried changing ip adress as well. The world is visible but it gives us the connection timed out error.
We are using minecraft 1.5.2, it used to work before changing routers perfectly.
Any help? I googled it and nothing came out.
When you connected to your new router, did you tell Windows that it was a "Home" network? If not, windows will block certain traffic as being unsafe.
To change it, go to the Network And Sharing Center, and click on the network type next to your network, e.g. "Public network", and then you'll get a dialog where you can change the type.

Found something weird, i am able to connect to my sisters world in lan, but she is unable to connect mine, by any means.
I can connect to hers only by using the direct connect option
that would tend to indicate that the configuration issue is with your PC.
Your PC is blocking incoming packets from her computer (game advertisements of her world or game connections from her client).

And is there a way to stop blocking incoming data? My firewall is disabled and i don't have any restrictions in my computer or anything.
