Today when I went on minecraft when I was standing I got around 30 FPS. But when I move my mouse around then it drops to 1-7 FPS. I don't know what is wrong because it used to be very smooth at 27-40 FPS. Usually around 30 FPS. Now game play is not tolerable.
I have normal settings set and I made little if no modifications to my computer. In 1 day how did I suddenly drop from 3 0FPS to 3 FPS? Can somebody tell me what is going on?
Did you start using a texture pack, install any programs lately that might be hogging up all your processing power, install any mods? Maybe you could try reinstalling Minecraft? But this did happen to me on my old computer, I would just recommend getting Optifine. That mod worked wonders for me, though now I dont need it with my new gaming computer. Optine is easy to intall though, and if you don't know how just watch a tutorial, Im pretty sure sp614x has some listed. If he dosen't, just look it up on youtube.
Open the task manager and take a look at your processes, Close down every process that is not necessary and see if that fixes it. I had that problem with jusched.exe (I still don't know how I got that, probably some sort of virus) and MOM.exe, a monitoring program from Catalyst in the past.
LOL please tell me you didn't kill process those!? MOM is for graphics and jusched is the java updater... please tell me you don't mindlessly kill processes. If you do, I feel sorry for your poor computer.
I have the highest version of optifine I think it is ultra or something.
I will try reinstalling minecraft. There is nothing wrong with my computer because on every other tasks it does fine.

Okay I tried re-installing minecraft and uninstalling optifine and re-installing optifine. I still get 2FPS when I move the cursor and I get 27FPS only when not moving the cursor.
What is wrong now? I used to be getting 30FPS even when I move the cursor. I mean like what is wrong with minecraft?
