When I play Minecraft (very often), the game pauses whenever I click the mouse. For example when I am attacking a mob such as a skeleton, it will open the pause/save screen after every click. This does not ALWAYS happen but it USUALLY does. I am playing the full, paid, reliable version of Minecraft in the browser. I use Google Chrome (it was worse in internet explorer and Mozilla Firefox). The problem is not the video settings as i keep them to very basic even though i should need to as I play Minecraft on a high-end gaming computer. My connection is also stronger than average but not fantastic. I have read about similar problems in the demo version but never in the full, paid game. Downloading Minecraft to the desktop is NOT an option. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is it not? It solves alot of problems, and gives you the ability to use 64-bit Java, if your computer is capable. If you are arguing that you cannot download stuff, you should understand that even playing on the browser, it is still downloading the game files the same way the launcher does. This error is more prominent in the demo, because not alot of people actually plays Minecraft on the browser after they've purchased it.

If you are still hard-pressed, you can however try to update LWJGL and see if it resolves your issue.
