Hello, this is my first my first post ever on the Minecraft forums.
If you are having trouble with the error, Unable to launch Java Virtual Machine Launcher (or something close to that) then your having the same problem as I 'did' (air quotes around did) then you will be unable to launch minecraft. This happens because obviously you are being a lunatic and installing Java 7 (64 bit) because this does not work in minecraft (I know, I tested it), What you have to do is uninstall Java 64 bit and reinstall 32 bit. You got to Control Panel > Programs > Java 64 bit (or 32 bit if your cool) > Update if that doesnt work then go Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program > Java 7 Update (25 or later) > Uninstall this should work then goto the Java 64 or 32 bit control panel and press Update it should work now
Not really sure what you are on about. I only have Java 64-bit installed, it runs Minecraft fine.
"Could not create Java Virtual Machine" happens because of certain settings were not compatible, or were invalid, or that it was simply an error with Java itself.
