I have tried that, It had no affect. It still crashes while loading a world
If your world got corrupted you can try to repair it with MCEdit. Open the offending world in MCEdit, press 'ctrl-i' and select 'Repair regions' in the dialogue which pops up. Once this has completed, save your world and exit MCEdit.
To download MCEdit, go to http://www.mcedit.net/ and choose the version appropriate for your OS.
I have been having a problem kinda related to this. When I log on to a world, it will load for about a minute, then crash. When i log back on to minecraft, the world has been deleted. It is also nonexistent in the app data file. This has happened a few times now, and i can see no pattern in the crashes. I am now scared to go onto any of my good worlds in case they are deleted. I have had minecraft for around a year, and this has never happened before. My update is minecraft 1.7.2 with launcher 1.3.1. My computer is an VAIO laptop with an i5 core running Windows 8. Please help!
Make copy of u world first, start u world with MC 1.6.4 (Mojang says that this version change some world settings for the new bioms in 1.7.2) If u have visit all buildings of u world u can change to 1.7.2)
