I've looked through many troubleshoots and other people's problems that are similar to mine but not exactly, and to no avail. I played in browser yesterday afternoon for a few minutes then when I tried again later that evening it didn't load.
It shows this,


Then that box goes away and its just the site with the back ground. I let it sit for several minutes in hopes that it was just taking awhile to load but no.
I had the 32-bit Java, and thought maybe since my Windows 7 is running on a 64-bit system I'd download the 64-bit Java, but that still didn't help.
We had just bought another account for my little brother before this problem and none of us have been able to play yet.

We really appreciate any help!

Without going through all of this trouble, just try downloading the launcher Minecraft.exe and extract it onto your desktop. Open it up, type in your log-in details, and hit Play!

Should have mentioned: It never let me download it. I also went through those troubleshoots. Disabled firewall, tried clearing the files with minecraft in the title but none existed, etc. I'll get a pic of what happens when I try to download.

Don't know why Internet Explorer decided to not like it but hey, as long as I get to play!
