I have been having an issue with minecraft, i cannot really identify the root of the problem. when i get on minecraft it is stuck on the 'loading update news' screen. I try logging in, but it then says "can't connect to minecraft.net" in red on the bottom right of the screen. no biggie, ill play in browser... but that doesnt work either. it doesnt even give me a black screen, it just never shows up. no java loader or anything. i tried logging in on my old laptop, which worked fine. i also tried reinstalling minecraft. that made it worse because now i cannot play offline.
i currently have:
-A custom MSI computer running windows 7
-Minecraft launcher that doesnt launch
-latest java update
-a STRONG internet connection
-no other issues in any related programs using java
-no clue how to fix this
help if you can, it'd be appreciated greatly
