When attempting to connect to another computer on LAN, the following error message is displayed: java.net.NoRouteToHostException: No route to host

I've looked up the computer's IP address and added the 5 additional numbers.

Don't know if this has anything to do with the problem, but the computer I'm trying to connect to runs Windows 7 while I run Ubuntu.

I had a simmilar problem. You might want to go and have a look at my how-to-tutorial i've made regarding the "No route to host" error.
