My minecraft is blacking out once the mohjang screen dissapears. I have a hypothisis that my texture pack was too big a file for the game, but also the loading screen goes past quickly. Im using Sphax PureBDCraft. Mohjang loads longer than it used too. I have deleted the bin folder. Ive loaded an earlier version. Still it doesnt work!!

Try force updating. Although, I don't see how a texture pack could black screen. I usually get that after installing mods incorrectly.

Well ive done that and it still doesnt work. anything else i could try...

Sphax is not for the update you are using. My only prediction.

I had problems like this, but with mods instead.

What version are you using and what version is the texture pack for?

1.6 and 1.5.2

Then that's the problem, texture packs don't work with 1.6. Remove the TP and everything should work fine.

Well if you are still having problems, although the post above me should fix it, just take any saves out of the .minecraft that you want to keep and delete the entire thing.

I think minecraft has some kind of boot log right? Or maybe that's only with forge installed. If it does exist, it'd be in the .minecraft folder in a .txt file. If it's there, check it and it may provide some insight as to what may be happening.

i did but it still wont work. is the download for minecraft free. i mean i can repay for it but idk.

i did tht but it didnt work. I may just have to redownload it?????

You payed for you account, not the download. Delete your .minecraft AND the launcher, then redownload the launcher and start it up.
