My Minecon 2011 cape went away

I meant to post this a long time ago, but my Minecon cape randomly disappeared after about a month of having it. I have no idea why, I didn't install any mods or change my skin at the time, so I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Options > Multiplayer settings

Make sure Capes is set to shown. You should also be able to check if you have caps on http://minecraft.net/profile

But it went away before that was an option. It was a really long time ago...
