Hello. before i explain i need to tell u that since i am new to this site im not sure if this is where i should be posting this XD if it isn't please tell me :P.
OK so i got a new computer like 6-8 months. It is amazing -0 problems.. until now. Lately in minecraft i have been getting this horrible lag. Every time i would move my mouse (look around) my frame rate would drop from my usual 100-125 all the way down to 1 until i stop moving my mouse... Now the weird thing is that this only happens with minecraft. everything else it is fine. I have researched and tried some fixes. none worked. I'm still lagging and it makes minecraft un-playable in the state that it is in. PLEASE i need some help if any1 know anything about this or how i could potentially fix this problem go ahead and tell me i need to know i love this game and its making it un-able to be played..
ok ive tried those... the problem started with optifine installed and i even copied my .minecraft deleted the old one and made a complete new one... its not anything with fps problems my fps is fine but thanks a lot ima keep searching for some fixs. I found one but u have to have an NVIDIA graphics card sooo im screwed im running windows 8
Did it appear randomly or after updating minecraft?
It appeared randomly when i was playing with my friend on a server. just out of no where i couldnt barly move.when i only use W A S D i dont lag at all but when i move my mouse i lag so much MC is unplayable i need a fix!!!
You installed optifine wrong first you need minecraft forge you get that you get a file manager I recommend 7zip or WinRAR
then go to your run type in %appdata% exactly like that k? then go to roaming after that go to .minecraft then bin open the
minecraft.jar with the file manager delete the META.inf folder/file next drag the contents of forge into minecraft then the optifine
files after that exit run minecraft and vollia you got optifine as well as forge modloader.

No... that way is completely wrong. You need to run minecraft after installing forge but before installing optifine.
You probably have, but have you gone into options > video settings > brightness 0, graphics fast, render distance tiny, view bobbing off, smooth lighting off, performance max fps, advanced openGL off, and clouds off? If not, I don't know what to do.

Well, you can always download the development version of the launcher and the latest snapshot of 1.6 itself from here if you want to see if it may help: http://www.minecraft...opment_versions
Go to where it says 1.6 snapshots and pre-releases and click where it says client.

Try installing optifine, that can boost fps a lot
If that doesn't work, try force updating minecraft.
