Help me please. Minecraft is almost unplayable to me because if this dang lag. >.< I admit my computer isn't the best, but this is ridiculous. Optifine doesn't help nothing, and I am getting really frustrated. Can someone please tell me how to speed up minecraft without optifine? Because I have done everything that people are suggesting to reduce lag.

I also would normally play on servers when minecraft has literally so much lag it freezes, but then there's that Internal Expectation error crap. DX

That is an old processor, and with that amount of RAM I'm quite surprised the game didn't crash your computer. I really cannot advise you to do anything else, other than reducing memory allocation to 256mb minimum and maximum. Minecraft taking 100% RAM is probably the issue here.
