Hello guys i used to play minecraft when i had a pc now i have a laptop it gives an open gl error
it has a radeon 4670m graphic card can anyone help to find its drivers??
Ya, it is as I figured. Your laptop most likely is using your Intel HD Graphics instead of your discrete HD6470.
There is a option in AMD Catalyst Control Center in which you can make it use the HD6470.
There is a catagory called Power, in which has something called Switchable Graphics.
In here you should see a list of processes. You should have minecraft open, just launcher is all. So that Javaw.exe that minecraft is using shows up in this Process list.

Here you want to set it to High Performance.
i set it to radeon there is a switch but i cant find catalyst

You should be able to open up Start Menu and type Catalyst and it pulls it at top of results. If it is not then I suggest downloading driver again and UNINSTALL them first, reboot, then install them fully.

That tool will quickly and easy find the correct driver for your machine.
But if do not want to use the tool, all that you need to say is your operating system and what bit version, 64 bit or 32 bit.
windows 7 64 bit and card is 6470
Like say example: Acer 5315-2212. Not all have sub models to note.
sony vaio s series VPCSB25FG

If you want to be sure that I read your reply then quote me.
Such has absolute nothing to do with this. More less such would not prevent the launching of the game.
""Advanced OpenGL" Simply saves processing time as it only makes the client render what the "player" can see.
Meaning any blocks under the ones you are standing on, are but texture-less boxes until in the players sight and can see.
But ones results vary because this setting varies on GPU and Drivers.
