So this just started about a week ago, now it happens every time I play minecraft. Im fine with 200 fps, but after about 10 minutes of gameplay, my fps drops down to 2-20 and its really annoying. After 5 minutes, my high fps returns, but its a continuous process, so it still lags after 10 mins of gameplay. I can't play like this, it is VERY annoying, please help!

Intel Core 2 DUo 2.53GHz
8.00GB RAM (6.49 Usable)
Windows 7
64-bit.
Video card: Nvidia Quadro FX 2700M

My average is 0-20fps.

Open up Minecraft, go to options, turn graphics to fast, turn off smooth lighting, turn brightness to moody, turn particles to minimal, turn down the music, turn off bobbing, and turn off clouds. Did ya try that?

Get optifine. But seriously? You're complaining about 2-20 fps? That's what I always have!

Im complaining because this shouldnt be happening for the computer I have, and yes I tried low settings, doesnt help.

Is it just for a few seconds? Or is it continuous?
