With browsers, programs and unnecessary background programs closed MC runs at around 60% CPU. The only mod I have installed is Optifine Lite. Is there a way to lower this?
Just because Minecraft's graphics have a retro styling does not mean that you can run the game on a Commodore 64. Minecraft will make a computer work just as hard, and in some cases harder than, many other contemporary games.
My MineCraft uses about 5% - 10% but only because I have a 2 terabite desktop I guess. I fully agree, MineCraft does take A LOT of space in most cases, though.
