So, I'm not sure this is so much as a problem with my installation as much as it is my internet connection
Everytime I run minecraft on this computer I am unable to login and it fails to update the news. the error is
Java.net.SocketException: Permission denied: connect
I Have tried turning off my firewall and making exceptions into it, re-downloading the jar and a current version of java forwarding my ports, putting a (Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true) into all the java processes running. and setting up a static IPv4 server
I seriously have no idea, but also relevant bittorrent (Hold your rage here, my minecraft account is legitimate) and google chrome also are not able to connect
I run minecraft on several computers on different networks, but this thing is beyond my explanation any help is appreciated.
my PING time and packet loss are just fine.
router is a NETGEAR WNDR3700v2
