Hi guys,

Since the newest update my game crashes as soon as I try to enter from the login screen.
If you look at the crash log it mentions a java error I believe?

I honestly have not changed anything and this is baffling me.
My java is up to date as are my video drivers.

This same thing is happening to me! It's quite annoying, isn't it? I've tried EVERYTHING! Redoing MineCraft, Filing bug reports, etc. and NOTHING happens!

I have also wanted this fixed for a long time, too.

Lol, yeah I just went the bug report route and I ran into the biggest bunch of pricks who were not really interested in helping as in giving condescending and smug responses. I hope they don't represent Mojang.

Anyways I hope we find the answer to this and I hope that since there seems to be more than one of us that it will come soon.

It is so frustrating because I have never had an issue before, never modded much or anything, and it worked beautifully but now just crashes. I just recently updated java so I am wondering if that is the problem or the new Minecraft update or both.

Your current video drivers appear to not support some Open GL functionality that Minecraft is trying to use.

I am up to date on everything.

Got it working, I had to downgrade my Geforce driver. For whatever reason their newest release does not agree with Minecraft.
