Hello. Since I'm always changing the time to day, and changing the weather to clear, I thought I'd try to use command blocks to automatically keep it day and the weather clear. I searched Youtube, and came across an up to date method (), but I can't seem to get it to work properly. I don't think it makes a difference, but I'm playing in single player, not multiplayer.
If anyone else has a better method, I'll take that, but here's two screen shots of how mine is. I've tried this twice, once with always day command block, and one with weather clear.
I believe that the reason that you're experiencing problems is that 'day' isn't a valid time.
Try:
time set 0
Thanks for your reply. I guess I just needed to get out of the area and come back, as now it's working. My only other question is, can I use this same set up to make it so the weather is always clear? The rain tends to lag me, so I'm always /weather clear'ing. Can I use the set up to make it never rain?
