When i tried to force update in minecraft, it started downloading pakages like normal, but then it stopped and said "Failed to launch. Fatal error occured. Failed to download iwjgl.jar" And i had to close the window.
Now whenever i try to enter the game, right when i click "enter game" the screen goes black and stays like that forever. I think it is because it didn't finish updating, but every time i try to update it again it never works. So basically, i can't play until i update it. Any help on why it won't let me update? Thanks.
You may need to reinstall the locally installed files that Minecraft puts into place.
To do so, start Minecraft, press 'Options' (above the 'Login' button), Press 'Force update!', then press 'Done', and login to Minecraft. See http://i.imgur.com/5b09B.png for visual instructions.
