I'm using minecraft 1.4.6 and I'm having a problem where their are random lights showing up underground.

[EDIT] Actually, the lights also show up above ground at night, I'll upload another screenshot

These are all lighting glitches in Minecraft. All you can do now is sit tight, cross your fingers, and wait till Mojang fixes it.

Yeah It's just a simple Lighting bug. You might try Optifine, but i doubt that it will help.
