WHENEVER I GO TO GET SOMETHING FROM MY INVENTORY I HAVE TO DRAG IT TO MY POCKET THINGY!!!!! IT TAKES ME ABOUT 10 HOURS TO GET ONE THING!!!!!!!!!!!! HHHEEELP MEEEEEEE!

You are lucky that you made an account and asked for help here in Minecraft Forums. Click on the item you want, and move it to your inventory. (Holmes you cracked the case!)

It used to let me just click on it but now I have to drag it and it takes forever.

Touchscreen mode, turn it off.

Just click on the item and it will transfer it to your hotbar or, you can select 1 through 9 to have the hotbar item and the item you are moused over switch.

Tried the shift thing. Prepare to be hugged.

Shift click and also turn off touchscreen, like everybody else said. Also, this isn't really a "creative" forum post. More like help post
