Does LAN require multiple premiums?

After a bit of Googling, I have found that you do need 2 separate accounts, which I was going to make for my sister to play anyway :P. However, if I play on my PC and my sister plays on my comp, and she downloads Minecraft and stuff and I host the LAN server, can she connect if she hasn't bought the game yet, or do we need 2 premiums?
