I was building on a superflat map with creative and cheats on, and i wanted to give the file out so friends can take a look. I opened the saves folder in .minecraft when I didn't find it anywhere except for all the Default maps that was made before 1.0 (except for one that was made in 1.5.1), Last i checked, my laptop overheated twice mid-building before I saved, chould that be the problem?
It could, Minecraft usually autosaves every 30 seconds but if you use optifine and set it to every 30 minutes like i do, you could lose it without the manual save and quit button, also, if laptop hard drives reach 50*C+, that could be bad for the hard drive
So I checked the map again, and it still doesn't show up even in the saves folder, and here are some of the things I found:
1. everything is still the same place it was, and only I have it in my minecraft but there is no savefile
2. when I made a minor rename, it still didn't show up
3. the save setting on optifine was set to every 3 minutes
and 4. as before; Cheats were enabled, on that fact could there be a way to disable that without re-creating my world?
