I recently, had to replace my hardrive, I did a fresh install and moved the minecraft game I had tranferred to a storage drive, onto my desktop and tried to play it without the internet for a home game. I get the message 'not downloaded' , so I think okay its glitched so I go to the website ant download directly from the minecraft site.
However when I try and start it , again I get the same response, so I try the help page. Thinking it may have to do with my ghostery add on or my anti-virus I turn them off and try again. Still I'm having the same problem.
At this point, I'm at a complete loss as to what to do next, and it's very frustrating as I rather enjoy this game and was planning to purchase the authentication code next month, and get the updates and other things that come with the game.
folder. If it is not there, click Option in the log in screen and the Force Update. The file you download from the website is merely the launcher, not the actual game.
