Failed To Download

Why is it I can post and download other things at lightning speed..but minecraft fails to download? I even tried multimc and it says check my internet connection..heh

I am also posting this on the same internet connection ^.^

Where are you experiencing the failed to download message? Do you actually mean "Login Failed"? Does it look like any of these?

I can log in just fine when it goes to download updates (since I have no minecraft in my roaming yet).

Alright, what antivirus software do you have installed? Have you tried restarting the router/modem? Are you using a proxy of any sort?

I turned off my MS anti and firewall. Tried the modem thing..will again. No proxy..maybe I should try a proxy? How?

Figured it out..some reason s3.amazon.com is blocked in my country (yet I can browse both the NA and china amazon site)..VPN solved my issue..where can I bring this up? I would like to be able to update/download on my main pc and not some slow pc with a VPN.
