Yesterday minecraft was working fine. mouse speed was fine. I don't have the fastest machine but it's always been playable. today I load my world & my mouse is running really really slow and it takes forever to turn or look around. I have to drag the mouse accross my desk, back and across again to make a simple turn. At first, like everyone else reading this, I thought "F8". But when I press it I can't move at all no matter how much I move the mouse. nothing. minecraft doesn't crash. i just can't move. so I press F8 again and it's back to the slow slow crawl where I have to drag the mouse over, pick it up and drag it again 3 times to make a 90deg turn. It's not lag because minecraft responds fine to the button keys. wsad all work fine. I also don't think this is a mouse issue. The mouse works fine in windows and in other software. I opened the mouse utility and increased the mouse speed to maximum which is very noticible and too fast for windows. the mouse zips across the screen with the slightest motion. Absolutely no effect in minecraft. I've also done a force update and have tried creating a couple new worlds. nothing. I should say that I play on a laptop and the same thing happens when I use the touch pad.
At this point minecraft is useless. I can't play.
I've done search's and there are numerous posts about mouse speed but they all have the same answer...F8. unfortunately thats not the case with me.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

Go to options and check your sensitivity, it might be too low. I keep it at 100%.

That was it. that was driving me crazy. I did all these search's and nothing ever mentioned the sensitivity setting. everything said F8. Don't know how i changed it but now it's fixed. Now i can breath again. Now I can play again.
