Every time I try to download the launcher for minecraft It says it can't download because the publisher is unknown. I've tried shutting down my anti-virus, my firewalls. I've tried okay-ing the websites and I've even tried downloading it in another browser. It always says the same thing. Is there anything I can do to stop it from doing this? I hate playing in-browser.
If you are using Internet Explorer, which I assume you are, then it is causing the issue. I would suggest other browsers, such as Google Chrome or Firefox. A quick Google search will lead you to their respective download links. Those should be less overprotective when downloading files.
