I've been really wanting to try out Minecraft for awhile now, but I want to make sure my Mac can run it before I make the purchase. I had to buy a new hardrive in the last year since someone *physically* wrecked my old one, and I'm concerned that I wont have enough RAM. Anyways, here's my specs:

I believe minecraft.net stated that 2 GB of ram was required to play, but i've been able to play team fortress 2 and diablo 3 on my Mac. I would assume I'd be able to play minecraft, but it's better not to assume right?

I was thinking that the RAM requirement was a bit excessive, so I really appreciate your feedback. Time for some Minecraft!
