Hey people I hope you can help me with this issue I am having. I was getting around 120fps Everywhere i went in minecraft on any render distance and a few days ago I turned on minecraft and now it locks me at 35fps. VSync Is off and I have a Geforce 620 GPU (600 something :P) And I forgot the processor but I looked them up and they are fine thats not the point. But it just all of the sudden gets stuck at 35fps no matter what setting. The only way I can change the fps is to put extreme distance (Optifine Mod) And i go to 28 fps :/ I am not very happy about this and it is hurting my youtube channel because I can not record. Thank you for all you're responses! I really need them
Welcome to the Forum.
Since I don't really know what I'm up against, please post your DxDiag (assuming you're using a computer running Windows). Otherwise, quite detailed specs would be good.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure this isn't the entire log - you have 2 display devices and you've only listed one.
Working from what I can see, you should get the latest Nvidia drivers.
I will re check on that computer tomorrow im really sick. Please keep checking these updates here and I already have the latest drivers I know that for a fact.

Make sure Minecraft is being rendered by the nVidia card, as it seems you have an integrated Radeon card as well.
Right click on the desktop, select nVidia control panel. Click on Manage 3D settings and make sure the preferred graphics processor is set to the high-performance nVidia card.
You can also right click on Minecraft, and a "run with graphics processor" option will be available, select the nVidia one.

I have heard these before and neither are there. There are only 2 options in the control panel which 1 is to select a program and 2 is to select a bunch of controls etc. Like a bunch of settings in a huge list that you can change I guess. I know what you're talking about thats how I know I dont have it. And the option is not there when I right click minecraft
