So this started back when I updated to 1.5.2, I have some mods installed but it was happening when they weren't installed as well. At seemingly random intervals my Minecraft will become really unplayably laggy, and if I have the MultiMC console open I can see it getting spammed with this:

Does anybody know what causes this and/or how to fix it? I tried changing graphics acceleration and allocating both more and less RAM to Minecraft and Java. My graphics card is a NIVIDIA GeForce GT 630.
