PLEASE HELP! Whenever I play on a server after a few minutes it kicks me off and gives me this noteificatior:

Internal exception: java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: socket write error

I have almost no idea what the problem is but I know that its not just a problem with a specific server at that time. Please give me any suggestions you think might work! -blackniph99

Is your java up to date?
If yes, try force downloading your client and trying again.

Neither of these things worked.... Would AVG virus protection be effecting something?

That type of error is caused by other software on your computer blocking the packet exchange with the server...

This may be a problem with your firewall or your anti-virus, you could temporarily disable them one at a time and then test it on a known server. If it doesn't happen with one disabled then you know where the problem is coming from, try to add javaw.exe to the exceptions rules for the guilty program.

OK I disabled AVG and the problem still happened. So now I know that Windows firewall is the problem? If so how exactly do I allow javaw.exe?

Never mind, I'm in the dark again I double-checked to make sure it was the firewall by completely disabling it and the problem still happened so now I still don't know what to do.

It doesn't crash it just says I was disconnected from the server.
