When I launch the exe file to play game a screen comes up that says 'Updating Minecraft' with a status bar that is about 90% full and says 'done loading', but the game does not launch. I am stuck on this screen and game does not launch.
To do so, start Minecraft, press 'Options' (above the 'Login' button), Press 'Force update!', then press 'Done', and login to Minecraft. See http://i.imgur.com/5b09B.png for visual instructions.
