Fullscreen Black screen

When i try to go into fullscreen (Press F11) the screen goes black. Everything else works. I can hear everything and move around but i just can't see anything. Please help.

You may need to reset your Minecraft settings to default. To do so, open your .minecraft directory and delete the file called 'options.txt'.

That didn't help. I have the latest minecraft which is 1.5.2 running on windows vista home premium 32-bit 2gb ram and intel pentium dual cpu E2140 @ 1.60 GHz processor

Perhaps try updating your LWJGL version and see if that helps.

Is this a laptop or a desktop PC?

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
