After deleting my .minecraft folder, this error message comes up everytime the launcher attempts to download MC. I tried downloading MC on another computer and it worked.
The things that I have tried in order to fix this problem:
1. Delete everything on my computer that had anything to do with MC.
2. Reinstall Java.
3. Forcing Update.
4. Disabling firewall and uninstalling antivirus software.
The same error occures even when trying to play in my browser.
I've scoured the internet looking for a fix to this problem and I have yet to find a solution. Also, I tried downloading minecraft on my netbook and it worked. It must be something with my computer.

6gb DDR3 1333 mhz
XFX Radeon 7850 2gb
