I recently got a computer I used a few years back up and running, and on it I had minecraft. This Minecraft says it is Beta 1.1_2 version and I was wondering if the worlds would be lost if I upgraded it to the most recent version. I would like the keep the worlds but I cannot transfer them to another computer due to the setup of their save folders. So again if I upgraded that version of minecraft would it allow me to convert the worlds to the newest version of minecraft while it is being updated?
