I have a severe problem with my minecraft, well, not severe, but persistent problem.
Every time I login to Minecraft, whether it's Internet based or Desktop based, I get an ad for "PureBDcraft" by spinax, and then my minecraft freezes up. After the ad is shown, a blank black screen appears and all I can do i close out the window.
I have tried deleting the data in the "%appdata%/.minecraft/bin" folder, but it was no use. I have been getting the updates and nothing has helped.
DOES ANYBODY HAVE A SOLUTION TO MY PROBLEM??? I LOVE MY MINECRAFT D:

This is because of the texture pack. It modified the splash screen, and I would think it is causing the blackscreen as well if you are using the texture pack.
You may need to reset your Minecraft settings to default. To do so, open your .minecraft directory and delete the file called 'options.txt'.
