I can't download the Minecraft demo

I've been playing Minecraft demo for 5 months now. Every time I want to update it, I delete the minecraft file and I download an updated version of the demo. Now the problem is when i tried to update it, the demo wasn't downloading. Thanks in advance.

Maybe just buy the game and not go through the hassle?
