Hello. I've been playing Minecraft just fine the past few months. Granted I don't play it much right now, but I am now having issues signing in to Minecraft. The application opens fine and the news about updates and other Minecraft stuff pops up fine. But when I click sign in it says "logging in" for a bit and then stops and says "Cannot connect to Minecraft.net." I don't know what is wrong. I removed Minecraft and downloaded it again, but it still does not work. I re-typed my user name and password and that didn't work. I don't know what else to do. I can sign in offline, but it won't work online.

I have a Mojang account for signing in.

Don't worry about, your internet is probably down. When it says you can't connect press play offline so you could play single player.

I use Norton. And I can get online fine. I can get on facebook or google and other sites just fine. I just can't sign in to play minecraft. I have to play offline.

Norton doesn't seem to be bothered by Minecraft though. It hasn't ever since I got Minecraft a few months ago. When I got it, the game worked just fine even with Norton.

Ok. Never mind. It decided it wanted to work again.
