ok, so i have been experiencing unexplained framerate issues for days now, 10 or lower. ive tried up and down grading my os, full system wipes, etc. nothing seems to work.
i have one last thing id like to try, and that is to max out my allocated memory to minecraft. trying to do this, however, ive run into a new set of questions.
i run the snapshots, and use exclusively the new launcher. since i wiped my system it appears i dont even have a minecraft jar living on my mac anywhere. so i cant right click it to show package contents, etc.
where is the minecraft app itself, not the minecraftdev?
how to change the allocated memory, for those running the launcher. plenty of tutorials out there about running minecraft before.
i have 4gb ram, its only allocating 225m, which was fine before my new framerate problems.
advice please. .. my gardens are probably full of weeds and mobs by now
