I upgraded to version 1.5.2 and ever since I have been unable to place or mine blocks. I am running Minecraft on my Macbook Pro running OS X 10.7.5. I have tried changing gamemodes, but that doesn't fix the problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
You should be able to place blocks, regardless of gamemode. Try reseting's Minecraft's options.
You may need to reset your Minecraft settings to default. To do so, open your .minecraft directory and delete the files called 'options.txt'. To get at Minecraft's locally stored files on a Mac, in the Finder, from the Go menu, select Home. Then open Library, Application Support. The folder you want is "minecraft".
You may need to run this command in Terminal before being able to find it.
