Hold Left Click Problem?

This is my first bug that happened to me. I tried to hold the left click but it wont break the dirt block. I tried to change the option but nothing happened. Anybody help?

I'm not really understanding what your issue is here. Would like a bit more elaboration on what you are facing.

Though it might be the fact that you have touchscreen mode enabled. Disable that in options.

Make sure you're not in adventure mode. In the chat type
/gamemode survival
or
/gamemode creative
