Minecraft Downloading Problem

I had to delete my .minecraft to fix a few problems, and now when I start Minecraft and log in it Login failed and Not downloaded. I'm having my friend send me their .minecraft folder right now.

Login failed implies either,

You have entered incorrect login credentials
You have not created your profile name yet
You are logging into a Mojang account that does not contain Minecraft
Please head to http://account.mojang.com/me and tell us if you see Minecraft under "My Games" on the page?
