I was recently playing on my laptop and wasn't paying attention to my battery and it ran out, causing the computer to abruptly shut off. I didn't think much of it because all of my programs and things worked normally, until I tried launching Minecraft. It initially gave me a error report and crashed, but I figured it was from me messing with my .jar earlier. But, after force updating and even re downloading MInecraft entirely from minecraft.net, it crashes no matter if I force update it or not. Here's the error report it gives me every time it crashes:

Try grabbing Java 7 Update 21. Be sure to remove the current version you have first, and be sure to grab the 64-bit version. http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

This finally fixed it, thanks. I was getting concerned it would be broken forever and I'd never know why.

Retired StaffTried it, same result. It seems to not be .jar related because I replaced my current .jar with a 1.4.7 .jar and had the same result.
