This problem has happened to all of my worlds since i got the game, at 1.4. If you go about 5000 blocks from the spawn chunks, in any direction, the world will only be ocean biomes. Also, before there is only ocean, the biomes will mess up and have borders as straight lines. I've tried tp ing, traveling through nether and making a portal back, and just flying in creative mode, but the same problem always occurs. My world is completely vanilla, and i'm wondering if this is a problem with my computer or just minecraft. Is anyone else having these issues? Any and all help is appreciated.
The current system generates large landmasses with large oceans in between. If you sail 5,000 meters further or so you'll hit into more landmasses.
No worry, there's a lot of terrain to explore before you hit the 30,000,000 mark.
I dissagree, something is really wrong, I just sailed (then gave up and flew) 30,000 blocks south to find nothing big enough to build a house on. Something is not how it should be, 5k blocks I can handle but 30k I cannot!
No worry, there's a lot of terrain to explore before you hit the 30,000,000 mark.
